Love 1 – 0 Coronavirus

I have made a little announcement this morning on my facebook page and you probably know by now if you follow me on instagram or if you know me at all – I just can’t shut up about it!
I have a nice and easy chillout playlist in the background, I woke up early and I meditated whilst the sun is shining brightly and warm. It even makes you think is just another regular lazy Sunday – only if we could just head out and have breakfast in Blackheath…
I digress, without any further drumrolls: I AM ENGAGED! 😀
He did it, last week! AND I SAID YES.
He bent down in one knee, in the same spot where 4 years prior he had told me the words that changed my life: “I am moving to London”. It was beautiful, unexpected… ours ❤ HE PUT A RING ON IT!
I cried a little bit and think the moment has gone by too fast that I can’t remember fully the details, how I reacted. My heart was pounding and I felt lightheaded for the rest of the evening. I kept waking up during the night to look at my finger to certify myself this wasn’t just a dream.
He knows me so well, the ring is absolutely stunning, he chose a Tiffany diamond ❤
We had planned to go to Prague 2 days after the proposal and obviously that the stupid Coronavirus had to get in the middle of our plans and we didn’t get to travel (and we don’t know when we will) and for 9 days now we are isolated at home (only having left twice to go to the supermarket).
I hate that this is taking away part of my happiness that I should be feeling right now, but I guess happier days will come.
For now, I’ll keep admiring my perfect ring, take a deep breath, look at him always beside me and feel the warmth increasing inside me ❤
Thank you for showing your love for me unconditionally every day, for your company, for hugging me and telling me this is going to be ok. Thank you. I love you, Francisco.

Fiz um pequeno anúncio esta manhã na minha página do facebook e tu provavelmente já deves saber se me segues no instagram ou se me conheces de todo – eu não me calo com isto desde o primeiro dia!
Tenho uma playlist de chill out a tocar de fundo, acordei cedo e meditei com o sol quente a brilhar. Quase que me leva a pensar que é só mais um Domingo lento – ai quem me dera sair de casa e tomar o pequeno almoço em Blackheath…
Mas voltando ao assunto, sem mais suspanse: EU ESTOU NOIVA! 😀
Ele pediu, a semana passada! E EU DISSE QUE SIM.
Ajoelhou-se, no mesmo sítio onde há 4 anos atrás me disse as palavras que mudaram a minha vida: “Eu vou mudar-me para Londres”. Foi bonito, inesperado… nosso ❤ ELE COLOCOU-ME UM ANEL NO DEDO!
Deitei umas lágrimitas e tenho para mim que o momento passou demasiado rápido porque não me consigo lembrar bem dos detalhes, nem de como reagi. O meu coração estava demasiado acelerado e passei o resto da noite meia zonza, delirante.
Acordei vezes sem conta durante a noite e olhei para o meu dedo, para me certificar que não foi só um sonho.
Ele conhece-me tão bem, o anel é sublime, ele escolheu um diamante da Tiffany ❤
Já tínhamos planeado para ir a Praga 2 dias depois do pedido e obviamente que o burro do Coronavirus meteu-se no meio e não pudemos viajar (nem fazemos ideia de quando poderemos de novo) e desde há 9 dias que estamos isolados em casa (tendo só saído 2x para ir ao supermercado).
Eu odeio que isto esteja a apagar parte da felicidade que eu deveria estar a sentir neste momento, mas acredito que dias mais risonhos virão!
Por agora, vou continuar a admirar o meu anel perfeito, a respirar fundo, a olhar para ele sempre ao meu lado e a sentir o calorzinho que cresce dentro de mim ❤
Obrigada por me mostrares o teu amor incondicionalmente todos os dias, pela tua companhia, por me abraçares e me dizeres que vai tudo ficar bem. Obrigada. Amo-te, Francisco.

    Congratulations! When all of this passes it will be nice to have this to look back on as a good thing that happened in this time. And it’s nice to hear about something positive for a change. Sorry about your trip though x
